Insights from Crema Constructions

What drove Crema to invest in quality systems?

“We’ve always prided ourselves on being a quality builder,” says Adam Kennan-Dunn from Crema Constructions. “However, as cost and time pressures have increased and the skillset of tradesmen diminished, maintaining this quality across all our buildings has become more difficult. Using a sophisticated QA system allows us to ensure we maintain the same level of quality across our business and from subcontractor to subcontractor.”

Why choose Visibuild over other platforms?

“At Crema, we believe in the KISS principle. Other systems were clunky and hard for our teams to operate in a live environment like a tower. Visibuild is a simple, user-friendly system that anyone (of all ages) can use, and it allows you to capture information and photos of the building at every hold point. The benefit of this is that subcontractors find it easier to implement among their staff.”

Changing attitudes towards quality

“Quality is becoming more of a focus within the industry. Owners, whether institutional or private, want to know that the building is built correctly. It is becoming more important to control quality during construction due to several factors, including changes in legislation, the subcontractor market and labour force, increased demands from developers, and the management of costs regarding maintenance post-build.”

We look forward to a quality partnership with Crema Constructions and are excited about the opportunities ahead. Stay tuned for more updates on our collaborative projects and the advancements we achieve together in the construction industry!
