We’re heading to Phoenix for the 9th annual Advancing Construction Quality event, and our co-founder and CRO Ryan Treweek is taking the stage, and the rest of the time you’ll find us on the floor. If you own quality on complex projects, this is the fastest way to see whether Visibuild fits how your teams actually work.

If cutting rework, tightening QA/QC across a portfolio, or getting ahead of punch lists before closeout is on your list this year, this is the fastest way to see whether Visibuild fits how your teams actually work. Book a time now and we’ll have it ready when you arrive.

Why Construction Quality Lives or Dies in the Field

Every growing contractor hits the same wall. Turnover climbs, profit doesn’t move, and the reason is hiding in the one place leadership can’t see: the field, where good systems quietly fall apart at implementation. In this session, Ryan makes the case that quality isn’t the sign-off on an inspection. It’s whether a system actually reaches the crew doing the work, and whether you can prove it.

A few of the ideas Ryan will be unpacking:

  • Why a green dashboard and a passed audit can both be hiding the real state of a job.
  • The true, largely invisible cost of quality failure, which Ryan puts at around a fifth of construction cost, and why it never shows up on the P&L.
  • Why “digitising” with PDFs isn’t digitising, and what a real field system has to do: verify work as it’s done, timestamp and attribute it, and surface deviations while there’s still time to fix them.
  • How to move quality from policeman to coach, so care flows down the chain and proof flows up it.

Why we’re there

Advancing Construction Quality brings together 500+ quality, operations and project leaders from across North America, from commercial and civil to data centres, healthcare and infrastructure. It’s the room where the people responsible for reducing rework and delivering right the first time compare what’s actually working on the hardest projects. That’s exactly who we build for.

We’re there because the industry is finally having the right conversation: that quality isn’t a compliance box or a policing job, it’s a business driver that either pays a dividend or quietly bleeds margin in the field. That’s the case Ryan takes to the stage, and it’s the problem the platform was built to solve, putting inspections, tasks and issues in the hands of the people doing the work so the record reflects what actually happened on site, not what got written up afterward.

And it isn’t a theory for us. Visibuild already supports quality across more than $10 billion of project value on Data Centers alone, with jobs running 150,000+ inspections and 250+ subcontractors, and new projects live in under two weeks.

If you own quality on complex, multi-trade work, come find us and pressure-test whether that holds up against your own projects.
