Visibuild’s April product webinar showcased an array of new features and enhancements, aimed at transforming construction project management through advanced tracking and bulk operations functionalities. Here’s a look at the key updates released and a preview of what’s to come in May.

Milestones: Progress vs. Quality Assurance

Shaun introduced a significant innovation with the industry’s first “Progress vs. Quality” tracker. The Milestone Tracker is designed to ensure that project managers can monitor critical construction activities against quality assurance checks simultaneously.

Key Feature Insight:

  • Progress Tracking: “I can see facade is installed to level 7 but have every seal been flood tested?”
This type of visibility is crucial for ensuring that no steps are skipped as a project progresses.
  • Quality Assurance: The tracker questions if essential procedures like concrete pours have proceeded without necessary pre-pour checks, emphasising the importance of compliance at every stage.

This integrated approach allows teams to identify discrepancies between project progress and quality checkpoints instantly, promoting a more rigorous management process.

Enhanced Inspection Tracker with Unlimited Revisions

The updated Inspection Tracker now supports unlimited revisions, a critical feature that allows project teams to manage and revisit any changes made throughout the project lifecycle. As Shaun noted users “can now surface all revisions of a given inspection in the one tracker view,” simplifying the management of multiple inspection iterations.

Bulk Creating and Managing Inspections (Visis)

The webinar highlighted new functionalities for bulk operations that significantly reduce the time required for administrative tasks. The bulk creation function,”allows you to select as many templates in as many locations as you want in one swift action,” streamlining the project setup process.

Furthermore, the introduction of a Bulk Actions Toolbar simplifies the updating, exporting, or archiving of multiple Visis, enhancing the ability to manage project data efficiently. A

Construction Hold Points in Visibuild

Hold Points in templates have been upgraded to ensure that critical quality checks are not missed by removing the ability for users to mark these as N/A. Secondly, if any user decides to skip a hold point, they’re asked for a reason as to why they need to skip the hold point, underscoring the commitment to maintaining stringent quality standards throughout the construction process.

Visibuild continues to push the boundaries of construction project management technology, aiming to provide solutions that integrate seamlessly with daily operations while enhancing the quality and efficiency of project oversight. As these tools are adopted, they are expected to significantly improve project outcomes and compliance, setting new standards in the industry.
