If you missed our latest product demo webinar, don’t worry – we’ve got you covered. August’s webinar focused on the broad spectrum of updates launched over the last few months. From company insights dashboards to project-specific features, the session aimed to provide a comprehensive look at how these tools can streamline workflows and enhance quality management across all levels of construction projects

Company Dashboard – Your Project Flight Deck
One of the most exciting updates is the Company Insights Dashboard. This feature has been fully deployed across all user levels – whether you’re a head contractor, subcontractor, or supplier, you can now access a centralised overview of project progress. The dashboard allows you to track engagement and completion rates in real-time, giving you a bird’s-eye view of how your teams are performing across multiple projects. It’s designed to streamline management, making it easier for everyone, from head office to the job site, to stay on top of critical metrics.
Company Template Library to Streamline Efficiency
We introduced the Company Template Library, now available for all subcontractors in Australia and New Zealand. This feature enables companies to maintain and update their template revisions within the platform. The next time you’re invited onto a project, you can quickly import these templates, making project setup more efficient. The library is company-specific, ensuring that all assignees and reviewers are aligned with your company’s standards before templates are made project-specific.

Project Specific Features: Duplication, Approvals, and more
Template Duplication: Useful for scenarios where a base-level template needs to be customised for specific elements, like different types of piles. This feature allows users to duplicate templates, making modifications as needed while keeping the original intact.
Template Approvals: This new functionality enables head contractors to review and approve templates before they are used on a project. Once a template is submitted for approval, no further changes can be made until the review is complete. This is a significant step towards getting rid of Excel approval spreadsheets and moving to an audit log system.
Project Inspection Tracker: Introducing the first phase of the Project Inspection Tracker, which consolidates every inspection template used on a project into one screen. This feature aims to streamline the inspection process, with more advanced functionalities expected to be released later in the year.

We also showcased some exciting updates to our Visio template builder. This tool allows you to create and customise project templates with ease. We even have some new features that just dropped, which I’ll be demoing in a bit.
And speaking of new experiences, we’ve overhauled our mobile app for the first time in three years! The new home screen is designed based on your feedback, making it simpler yet more impactful. Now, you can hide irrelevant locations, see recent activities, and manage your QA tasks more effectively on the go.

Upcoming Features: What to Expect in July
The month of July will focus on bringing these same insights from the Company Dashboard to the Project Dashboards.
Another exciting feature we’re rolling out is template approvals. With our project template builder, we found several use cases where it would be impactful to have a more senior person review templates. Just like how a senior person reviews site visits completed by a junior cadet, we’re applying the same concept to templates. This means more oversight and higher quality from the start.
Thanks for being part of the Visibuild community. We’re thrilled about these updates and can’t wait to hear your feedback. Happy building!
